Praying 🙏

To whom God says this is for: Grew up in a Baptist/Pentecostal family. Thought tongues was not for me. Considered it was from the enemy. Until.... Moved to Portland Oregon back in 2005 from NC. Prayed God to lead me to a good church/the right church for me. Month goes by. Lady I worked with invited me to her church. I went. People speaking in tongues, but overall a good church. Started going to breakfast with other members who were business people. Got on subject of tongues, and they showed me the scriptures above in previous post. Mark 16:17-18 wouldn't leave my heart. Signs would follow them that believe. We don't have to seek signs. As a believer, they follow us. Had a nightmare a few days later, of a demonic girl choking me. Hands around my throat. Woke up. The next week, again, same demonic girl this time....holding my tongue. Woke up. A few weeks later, after church, an elderly man walked up to me and this was the conversation. Him: I've never met you before. Me: No, this is the first time meeting you. Him: I have a Word for you. Me: Okay Him: (Pointing at my head) You need to get this out of the way, (Now pointing to my belly) and let those living waters come out. You know what I'm saying, don't you? Me: Yes He turned around and walked off. I was kind of dumbfounded. Like what did I just experience? I was struggling with receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues, had a few dreams that were an attack from the enemy, and now a gentleman I never saw or spoke to, came up and said what I needed to hear. The next service, the pastor spoke on receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, and after his message, asked anyone who wants it, to come up and receive it. I jumped up and went to the front, and received it. I have been speaking in tongues ever since. I am a different person because of it. That's how I get my edification(my power and strength). It is from God. Nobody can take that away from me. If fact, that is how I believe, I came into this group. By the Holy Spirit. If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:37‭-‬38 KJV

For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
