Who Are We?
I am completing the fourth and final book of the GIG Series titled The Keys of the Kingdom. I have finished the first four Keys this morning and have begun the fifth and when I am done will all seven the book will go to print.
However, in the course of God making known the details of the Keys he has shown me I come to understand for myself that no where in our lives have we figured out who are we, what is our makeup and how our system works. Because of that I thought I would share a food for thought.
For many we have always thought we are physical beings connected to a spiritual realm. That is not the case, we are spiritual beings living in a physical experience. So our bodies were formed to allow the physical experience to happen for an already created spiritual entity.
I would bet to say that almost all pastors today don't get this. It is because we are spiritual beings that we do have access to the Keys of the Kingdom that provides us all the Universal blessings God laid up for us.
Understanding who we are we can know understand that we really are children of God.
Did you know that the original scriptures were written in Hebrew language, ancient Hebrew using the Aramaic dialect. Words in Hebrew were written right to left not left to right as our English language and he words because in Hebrew had no spaces.
In studying the ancient scriptures to complete this last book I find that the words of God is very telling.
Jesus said in Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." This has literal meaning. We are to study each word as separate from the whole and then as the whole.
So in studying I had to understand the text as God's thoughts.
Genesis translation in Aramic is “In the Beginning”. So we look upon this book as the information God is telling us about the beginning of creation. We need to remember that in the spiritual realm there is no element of time. God did not create time. So the beginning is just that the beginning. So in Study Genesis we will look upon what God is telling us from the perspective of the beginning. Because Genesis is used as the Title of the Book In the Beginning, we need to look at what the root word of Genesis is and what language was used in the word creation. What we find is the word Genesis is derived from the Greek word “gignesthai” meaning “to be born.” In breaking down the pronunciation of the word we find it has three syllables – gen-e-sis. Taking the Hebrew name of the book with the history of the word and the breakdown of the pronunciation we can then understand what God is going to be telling us. God is focusing on the birthing of the beginning starting with an understanding of the very particles required for birth – God’s genes! We call this the God particle and was discussed in detail in Book Two God’s Family Affair in the God Is Government Series. Therefore, the book of Genesis provides for us the Gene of God, His DNA and His thinking.
Now here is where it begins to get really interesting!
Genesis 1:3 KJV “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” The elements of this part of the creation – to be born or birthed is “And God said.” When you look at Hebrew and take and read it right to left, we find that God said “DNA” let there be light.
Genesis 1:4 KJV “And God saw the light, that is was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.” The elements of this part to make sure His creation was right and good is “And God saw.” When you look at Hebrew again and take and read it right to left, we find that light was God DNA.
What we find in Genesis Chapter 1 there are ten (10) “And God Said (Called)” In addition, there are seven (7) “And God saw.” Ten And God Said and seven And God saw is seventeen times God references His DNA.
God uses numbers to represent many things within scripture. First of all we have to say that this number is usually used as a symbol of victory, and it means that God managed to overcome his enemies. Actually, it is known that God was able to overcome the sins of humans when he decided to destroy the earth by flooding it. It was known as the Great Flood that started on the 17th of the 2nd month in the Hebrew calendar that was used in that time. It is also known that the ark of Noah and 8 passengers who were with him made a rest on the Ararat mountains exactly on the 17th of the 7th month.
According to the religious calendar, this day was actually the same day as the 17th of Nisan. Nisan was considered to be the first month in the religious calendar. This day was also the day of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who defeated death this way.
Actually, on the 17th of Nisan, he rose from his grave, and it was a big day of his resurrection. Before that Jesus was in the grave for 3 days and nights. As you can see, number 17 is present everywhere, which means that God chose this date for his resurrection and also for many other things. It could be a reminder for you that nothing happens by chance, but there is a good reason and purpose for everything.
Knowing all that, we can also say that number 17 is a number of restoration in the biblical sense. Actually, on the 17th God restored the earth and returned it to be perfect.
According to the Book of Daniel, his beasts had 7 heads and 10 horns, so we have that 7 + 10 gives 17. It is also said in the Bible that the end-time system of devil will have 7 heads and 10 horns, so we can see that 17 has also a negative connotation in this book.
God referred to His DNA seventeen times signifying victory in His creation.
We find that God created male and female on the sixth day. Genesis 1:26-31 KJV “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. nd God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Remember in the spiritual realm there is no element of time. However, we are told that the evening (midnight) and the morning (back to midnight) make a day. We are told to take each word as truth and from God. So in verse 27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them. Taking God literally then God created male and female in the above passage like Him in spirit. What God is telling us is through His DNA he created male and female as spiritual beings.
at Genesis 1:27-28 KJV “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
In this verse of scripture God had not yet formed man. That happened on the seventh day. We know that sometime after creation of the heaven and earth Lucifer rebelled and was cast out of heaven. So Lucifer resided on the earth before the formation of man.
Genesis 2:1 KJV “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.” However, God had not yet formed man. So, if the heavens and the earth were complete it meant that all the spiritual beings were on earth, Lucifer was kicked out of heaven and resided on earth, and all that was left to do was form man to live on earth in the physical form – humankind or humanity.
How many of us have been told that God rested on the seventh day? That is true but God did not take the day off as pastors have told us. In fact, they used this concept to tell us that the seventh day is for resting with no work. How for from the truth is that. Let us look at the scriptures.
Genesis 2:2 KJV “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.” When we examine the words of God literally, we find that scripture tells us first that on the seventh day God ended His work. So what does that mean? It means God worked on the seventh day and completed His work and then rested after completion. Let us continue.
What did God finish on the seventh day? We find this in Genesis 2:5-8 KJV “And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.”
God examined His creation, and He states that He looked for a man to till the ground and there was none. It is then on the seventh day that God formed man from the dust of the ground, breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Then God put the man in the garden whom He formed.
But before God was finished His seventh day, He decided that it was not good for man to be alone. Genesis 2:18 KJV “And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” So God made a helper for man. Genesis 2:21-22 KJV “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.”
Now with all of creations and His formations complete God tells us He rested on. Genesis 2:2 KJV “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.” It is interesting how people have interpreted this one verse. Pastor for years have told us that God rested, not working on, the seventh day. With our review of scripture above, we have identified that this was not the case. So we need to re-examine what this passage really means.
We have to look at scripture in order to answer that question. God tells us that he breathed His breath into the nostrils of the man In Genesis 2:7. In Genesis 2:2 He tells us he rested on not rested. God is telling us that it was on the seventh day he breathed His breath in the nostrils of man by resting ON man giving Him air.
Need to reset our thinking about who we really are!
