Getting Prepared - What is the Role We Play

Isaiah 33:22. “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.”

The battle for planet earth is a battle of good vs evil and the only thing standing in the middle is us. We either accept our roles in this war or we allow it to happen!

it is extremely important that we understand our role in this new world. If we do not handle this correctly, underneath the covenant of God, we will move right back into the same thing we are trying to get out of. We have to not only understand our role, but take action on the various roles we play in today's society. It wasn't until Nehemiah took action that Jerusalem was rebuilt and the Jewish people changed society.

In the first book in the God Is Government Series, we lay out specifically why we were created our roles here on earth, the sovereign authority we have within the authority structures and what the basic civic duty we have as a citizen of God's Kingdom living here on earth in a foreign land.

We took the approach to identify exactly what is going on now, what has to change and what happens if we don't change. Change involves ourselves but more importantly change cannot take place in our civic government hierarchy - federal, state, local - without changing ourselves and assuming the roles we are directed to perform.
